Camp Achva includes activities such as music, crafts, storytelling, dance, singing, playing, swimming, learning archery, sports, arts, aquatics, and outdoor adventures. Informal Jewish education is woven into these activities to strengthen identity, instill values, and build community.

Since 1969, Camp Achva has engaged Northern Virginia's children in Jewish themes of Connection and Peoplehood through music, crafts, storytelling, dance, and related activities. The program’s mission is to build Jewish Connection, Community, and Peoplehood through meaningful opportunities for every individual to explore the boundless potential of Jewish life. Camp Achva is described as Northern Virginia's premiere Jewish day camp and is expanding member pricing to synagogue families.
