Advantage Basketball Camps gives kids structured time on the court with a primary focus on ball-handling and dribbling. Campers work on shooting and take part in practice drills that mix repetitive skill work with friendly fun. First-time campers may practice a fundamental skill thousands of times in one week, and more advanced students may complete 20,000 to 30,000 repetitions during their camp time.

Advantage Basketball Camps is a Youth Basketball Training School for kids ages 6–18 and offers summer 2025 camps for boys and girls of all skill levels in this age range. The program uses industry-leading basketball training techniques and techniques developed over more than 20 years to motivate kids to learn through repetition, with fun. Since the early 1990s, the primary focus has been on ball handling and dribbling, with a well-balanced mix of practice drills and friendly fun. The program uses repetitive practice to build muscle memory and prepares young players ages 6–18 for high school and college. Advantage Basketball Camps emphasizes self-esteem, teamwork, self-confidence, the value of self-discipline, and the value of hard work. Locations include multiple U.S. states such as Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, and more. Advantage Basketball Camps was formerly known as Baden Youth Sports Camps.
Advantage Basketball Camps was founded in 1986 by Michael Hummel. Dave Immel, a UCLA star and Portland Trailblazer, was instrumental in the development of the Advantage Basketball Camps’ method for teaching shooting skills. The mission of Advantage Basketball Camps is to teach children using the most effective methods to help them be their best on the basketball court and beyond.
Advantage Basketball Camps has been chosen as the official basketball camp for the MSMN Elite Basketball Tournaments National Class, NCAA Certified. It was also selected by Sports Illustrated Kids as one of the top youth sports camps in the country.
