About
Camp Createability offers summer camps, in-person classes, and virtual classes focused on film, digital media, and art. The program includes full-time and part-time film and digital media programming, art programming, vocational programming, and private tutoring or individualized programming. It also includes a transition program, an employable skills program, supported employment and self-employment options, day services, and access to a working production studio with film and audio studio rental.

Camp Createability is a training facility and full service studio for artists, visual effect artists, filmmakers, graphic designers, animators, and digital media designers with autism or other disabilities. Its mission is to provide children, teens and adults with autism or other disabilities with individualized instruction and hands-on experience in the arts and entertainment field. The training facility includes a working production studio that contracts for paid industry digital media projects that provide hands-on experience and employment opportunities for artists, along with film and audio studio rental. The program’s mission includes employability, independence, and inclusion, and it offers an expansive lineup of camps, workshops, and virtual offerings. In 2012, owner Debbie Armstrong formed Camp Createability based on her work with individuals with autism.
