Madison Children’s Museum Programs & Events

Madison Children’s Museum Programs & Events includes activities such as the Early Explorers Playgroup, Let’s Move! with Abby, Music with Junebug, STEAM Time: Melt Animals out of Ice, and Clay Day!. The program also offers special events including a Member Party: Amazing Cartoon Adventure, Adult Swim: Green Vibes Only, April Sensory-Friendly Night, and July Sensory-Friendly Night. Families can also find features such as Sensory-Friendly Hours, the Nice Age Trail, Community Concourse, Art Studio, Possible-opolis, Stair Trek, Rooftop Ramble, Wildernest, Wonderground, Trash Lab, MCM Roadshow, Winter Wonder Weeks, Adult Swim, Live from the Wonderground, Field Trips, and the Lunchbox Cafe.

• Schedule: Open Wednesday–Sunday, 9 am–4 pm, with free Thursday night hours from 4 pm–8 pm

Madison Children’s Museum states that “Play matters. It’s how we learn to invent, share, and explore.” The museum describes itself as a place that “bursts with chances to play and learn: to stretch bodies and minds, solve problems, create art, make friends, and, most of all, have fun,” and as “an inspiring space where kids lead, and grownups are happy to follow.” The organization notes “45 Years of Play” in its history.
