About
Maydm Programs offers activities that include Art of App Design: Intro App Development, Science of Self-Care: Cosmetic Chemistry, and Future Focused - Actually, it is Rocket Science. The program runs these activities as part of a structured summer offering.

• Schedule: Summer Program August 3rd - August 14, Monday - Friday for 2 weeks
Maydm’s mission is to provide girls and youth of color in grades 6–12 with the skills, experiences, and connections to pursue careers in and change the face of STEM. The organization integrates STEM with programs and internships for middle and high school students using a holistic approach to learning and prepares students for a future in STEM through immersive programs and workshops. Maydm states that it is committed to providing an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students, does not discriminate on the basis of protected characteristics, and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to support equitable access to its programs and services whenever possible and appropriate.
One instructor, Jaylen, describes learning about Maydm through an internet posting and notes that they “loved” their time being part of the “Maydm Family” and working with the kids at camp. A parent, Tondra Davis, reports that both her daughter and son have participated in Maydm programs and mentions that their involvement has included attending professional sporting events, enrolling in summer college camps, having paid summer internships, and experiencing academic and professional development. Another parent, Lindsey, shares that her child Aria has attended STEMinism camps for two years, made lasting friendships, and stayed in touch with other participants, including one who moved out of state. Maydm also notes involvement with community and corporate partners and invites others to become new partners.
