Madison School & Community Recreation Programs has been serving Madison since 1926 and has offered a variety of programs for all ages since 1926. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals in the Madison Metropolitan School District and for the community by providing recreation and enrichment opportunities year-round that are accessible to all. Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) is a department of the Madison Metropolitan School District and is the public recreation provider for all Madison Metropolitan School District residents. The program states that it is a school and recreation district that values and celebrates diversity unequivocally, and that it stands by its immigrant participants, families and staff, its students and participants with disabilities and their families, and its trans participants, staff and families.
