MSCR is the public recreation provider for all Madison Metropolitan School District residents and has offered a variety of programs for all ages since 1926. Its mission states that MSCR will enhance the quality of life for individuals in the Madison Metropolitan School District and for the community by providing recreation and enrichment opportunities year-round that are accessible to all. MSCR values and celebrates diversity unequivocally, and it states that it stands by immigrant participants, families and staff, students and participants with disabilities and their families, and trans participants, staff and families. MSCR notes that some activities are offered in collaboration with @natureeverywheremadison.
