Easterseals Wisconsin Camps & Respite Services offers camping and recreation, respite services, and a Veterans Family Camp held twice a year. The Camps are the longest, continuously running Easterseals camps in the nation.

Easterseals Wisconsin has provided programs since 1926, and its Camps have been operating since 1938. The organization recently celebrated its 95th anniversary and is one of the oldest charitable organizations in the state. The mission of Easterseals Wisconsin is to increase independence, maximize opportunities, minimize barriers, and enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities. Christine Fessler serves as the Easterseals Wisconsin President & CEO. Easterseals Wisconsin serves close to 10,000 children and adults with disabilities and their families each year throughout Wisconsin. Its FARM Program serves as a model for similar programs nationwide and helps farmers return to farming after a disabling accident or illness. Veterans Family Camp offers a unique camping experience to veterans and their families and is held twice a year. The organization launched a revitalized brand in September 2017 with a new logo and color scheme using Easterseals orange and yellow with a secondary color of blue. One testimonial notes that a Self-Employment Specialist tailored a business plan and broke it into manageable steps, and another describes that AmeriCorps members and camp counselors at veterans camp weekends are trained to care for children with disabilities so parents can participate in activities such as the adults’ dinner and Quilts of Valor ceremony. Another testimonial states that, thanks to Easterseals Wisconsin, a participant has a business up and running and is looking forward to a successful future.
