About

Thrive3 Basketball Training & Camps offers basketball training and basketball camps that include skills training and mental skills training services for basketball players. The program focuses on specific basketball skills such as handle, footwork, and feel, and staff evaluate, give feedback, and create custom micro-drills during training sessions. Every training session or camp is customized to meet the individual needs of each player, and the program states that it develops people, not just players.

• Ages: 8–18 years old

Thrive3’s leadership team includes Mike Lee (Founder/CEO), Luke Meier (Director of Training), Drew Windler (Skill Development Trainer), Ben Fischer (Skill Development Trainer), Sam Price (Girls Division Director), and Rainer Meisterjahn (Mental Coach | Courtex Performance). Mike Lee was awarded a scholarship to attend the Fuqua School of Business and Coach K Leadership Conference, served as the Assistant Director for the inaugural Stephen Curry Skills Academy, and worked events for NIKE Basketball. Luke Meier is a former college player and coach at UW-Eau Claire. Drew Windler is a 2014 graduate of Belmont University, was a 3rd team All-SoCon performer at Samford University, and is a former overseas professional. Ben Fischer is a former college player and current assistant coach at Milwaukee Pius XI. Starting with one basketball camp in 2003, founder Mike Lee has taken Thrive3 from his college apartment to an international brand. The program’s stated mission is to create game-changing experiences that crossover from the court to life, build relationships that allow staff to challenge players to strive for their fullest potential as players and as human beings, and to develop people, not just players. Thrive3’s philosophy is that most skill work does not get the results players want, and that real skill work builds a foundation; they state that they create skills, not drills, and that every training session or camp is customized to meet the individual needs of each player.
