First Exposures is a free photography mentoring program for young people in the Bay Area, to empower young people to thrive, express themselves creatively, and become leaders in their communities. Our goal is to provide accessible arts education to diverse communities that have been historically impacted by social and economic inequality. Mentees are 11 - 18 years old and have an interest in learning photography with the help of a group of mentors.

Learn about marine science and seamanship and help raise the sails on a traditional sailing ship. Youth ages 8-15 will sail by Angel Island and see the Golden Gate Bridge.

Tree Frog Treks is back for another summer of Wild Science at Golden Gate Park, with both Half-Day Camps and Full-Day Camps available! During each camp session, campers will meet live animals, perform fun experiments, build connections and critical thinking skills through adventuring in nature with peers and instructors. Come meet Blondie the Burmese Python, Trucker the Tortoise, Artemis the Blue-tongued Skink, and Jumpy the White’s Tree Frog - to name some of our nearly 100 Animal Ambassadors! Art Classes We follow SFUSD school days for our after school art classes. We will start the first day and go till the last day of school. Adult and Teen classes will be held in the evenings and will be offered as 6 week session at a time.

Our YMCA Before- and After-School programs foster each child’s cognitive, social-emotional and physical development through opportunities and experiences which focus on achievement, relationships and belonging.

Campers at Alameda Art Lab always engage in glass fusing projects, glass mosaics and stained glass, but we also work with other media. We do metal smithing, acrylic & watercolor paints, paper decoupage, polymer clays, wire for sculpture, embroidery, pyrography, alcohol inks and henna. Students will learn how to use glass cutting tools and grinders, drills, soldering irons as well as traditional art media.

A School of Rock music camp and music programs is a perfect introduction to our performance-based approach to music education. School of Rock's music camps offer an incredible selection of experiences from beginner music camps to intermediate and advanced sessions. Our music camps often include performance boot camps, a guitar camp experience, artist-themed camps, songwriting and recording, and more—there's a camp for every interest and skill level.

Audubon Adventure Summer Camp is an inclusive outdoor experience for children ages 4 to 7 years old.
