Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center Programs include activities such as Art & Jazz inspired by current exhibitions, a comic book celebration called The Carnegie Comic Collective, and a summer iced coffee class called Cool Beans: Summer Iced Coffee Class with Owlverick’s. The programs also include Gallery Storytime, a toddler program with Disney animation and creativity through live storytelling, singing songs, and playing games, as well as hands-on crafts and demonstrations during After Hours Social Club: Animation School, which is an immersive evening of animation culture, music, trivia, and craft cocktails. Additional offerings include author talks and book signings, private party and parade viewing receptions, concerts, workshops, walking tours, poetry readings, and family events.

The Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center engages the community in exploring and celebrating diverse heritage, culture, and arts through creative programming. The organization’s Board of Directors includes Laura Alcala; Tracy Antolin (Treasurer); Chris Bennett; Kyle Bonenberger; Aaron Chaves; Steve Faessel (Secretary); Ryan Hall; Michael Johnson; Cynthia Kokos; Sjany Larsen-Cash; Christopher Nguyen; Brittany Nobles; Chance O’Neil; Curt Pringle; Elisa Stipkovich (Chair); William Taormina (Emeritus); Kristine Thalman; and Alicia Valadez. The historic Carnegie Building served as Anaheim’s library from 1908 to 1963, became a center for local history and research in 1978, and became the Anaheim Museum in 1984 until the creation of Muzeo in 2007, when the state-of-the-art gallery space opened. Muzeo hosts changing, innovative exhibits in art, history, contemporary culture, and science and houses the offices of the Anaheim Historical Society. NBC Los Angeles describes Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center as “one of the best spots to find some seasonal joy,” and Muzeo is featured in the Forbes Travel Guide. Muzeo relies on the generous support of donors and offers memberships with many benefits, and MUZEO is on Tongva land.
