Lovely Leaps offers dance classes and programs that include ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, breakdance, acro, stretch and strength, competition classes, and a Company Team. The program also offers summer camp sessions and dance options that can be taken as studio, private, charter, or school-based programs.

• Schedule: Virtual hours are available Monday–Saturday, and classes are organized in three-month sessions that auto renew and are billed monthly, with additional month-to-month options.

Lovely Leaps has been a studio since 2019. The program was founded by Lisa, a former engineer turned dance enthusiast, and Lisa and Ricky work together, combining Lisa’s focus on dance with Ricky’s marketing and communications expertise. The Lovely Leaps mission is to cultivate the love of dance in the younger generation and to make sure each child feels seen, heard, and loved in their dance journey.
Classes are grouped into levels that include Tiny Leaps – Parent & Me; Mini Leaps – 2–3 years old; Cute Leaps – 3–4 years old; Petite Leaps – 4–6 years old; Lovely Leaps – 6–8 years old; Mighty Leaps – 8–12 years old; and Next Level Leaps – 10+ years old (qualify). Lovely Leaps offers two major recitals each year, one in spring and one in winter, plus a summer recital at the San Diego County Fair, and each recital includes a princess or character backstage. Lovely Leaps offers partnered school-based dance programs and sends instructors to children’s schools to teach dance. The Lovely Leaps Company Team is described as an all-inclusive program with one consistent monthly cost covering training, competitions, recital performances, and more, and auditions for the Company Team are held every June with limited spaces.
Membership options include three-month studio memberships that can be canceled before the full three-month period for a $35 fee, and month-to-month memberships at a slightly higher rate with no cancellation fee.
