Lovely Leaps

Lovely Leaps offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, acro, stretch and strength, hip hop, breakdance, competition classes, and a Company Team. Classes are available for ages 10 months through early teens, with levels that include Tiny Leaps – Parent & Me, Mini Leaps, Cute Leaps, Petite Leaps, Lovely Leaps, Mighty Leaps, and Next Level Leaps. Breakdance classes are described as designed especially for boys.

• Price: Little Leap Three Month Sessions: $85/month for 1 class per week; Lovely Leaps Three Month Sessions: $125/month for 2 classes per week; Mighty Leap Three Month Sessions: $155/month for 3 classes per week; Mega Leap Three Month Sessions: $185/month for 4 classes per week; Little Leap Monthly: $120/month for 1 class per week; Lovely Leaps Monthly: $150/month for 2 classes per week; Mighty Leap Monthly: $180/month for 3 classes per week; Mega Leap Monthly: $210/month for 4 classes per week; 3-month studio membership can be canceled for a $35 fee; month-to-month membership is available at a slightly higher rate with no cancellation fee.

Lovely Leaps was founded by Lisa, a former engineer turned dance enthusiast, and the family members mentioned are Lisa, Ricky, Gianna-Grace, and Zoe-Faith McCabe. The studio has been operating since 2019. The Lovely Leaps mission is to cultivate the love of dance in the younger generation and to make sure each child feels seen, heard, and loved in their dance journey, and the program emphasizes inclusion and making sure each child feels seen, heard, and loved in their dance journey.

The Lovely Leaps Company Team is an all-inclusive program with one consistent monthly cost covering training, competitions, recital performances, and more, and auditions for the Company Team are held every June with limited spaces. Lovely Leaps hosts two major recitals each year, one in spring and one in winter, plus a summer recital at the San Diego County Fair, and each recital is complemented with a princess or character backstage. Programs are offered both in studios and at schools, and Lovely Leaps offers school-based dance programs by going to children’s schools to teach dance, with partnered schools and five studio locations including Escondido, Scripps Ranch, Kids & Coffee in Carlsbad, Play City in Vista, and Rise & Shine in Point Loma. Values, teaching style, and recital experience remain consistent across all locations.
