White Horse Polo Ranch offers English style riding, Western style riding, jumping, polo, trail riding, and riding lessons. Lesson plans also include horse communication, horse trailering, and complete horse care, along with polo lessons. The horses used are polo ponies with a range of temperaments, from completely calm to ready to run full speed across the polo field, and they are described as friendly and playful and enjoying attention from children and adults.

Susan Harris leads White Horse Polo Ranch and has a background as a horse trainer, a university windsurfing instructor, and a public school math teacher, and she is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego. The ranch teaches all levels of instruction from beginning to advanced and works with all ages of riders from children to adults. The equines are mostly Arabian and Thoroughbred horses, with one horse, Lulu, being a Haflinger pony. The stated mission is “Promoting Understanding Between Horse and Rider,” and the program has received a Senate Certificate. Private groups, Girl Scouts, and parties can schedule events, and families are asked to call for the gate code and to set an appointment to meet the horses.
