West Coast Martial Arts Fremont offers training in karate, self-defense, Tae Kwon Do (also called Taekwondo), American Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Eskrima Stick Fighting, grappling, MMA, and weapons training. The program teaches the WCWMA System, which is described as a practical mix of martial arts from around the world, and students learn a solid, well-rounded system of self-defense that enables them to adapt to any style of martial art. The program is described as a unique karate school that strives to take self-defense back to its roots as a physical and spiritual art form, and it promotes a family environment focused on bravery, respect, and confidence while enhancing fitness and teaching life skills in a supportive community.

West Coast Martial Arts Fremont was founded in 1995. The founders of the association are Master Ernie Reyes Sr. and Master Tony Thompson. The program states a CANI commitment to constant and never ending improvement to black belt excellence. The mission of WCWMA is to impact and empower as many people’s lives as possible in a positive way through the WCWMA Black Belt and Mastery Success System. The program is veteran-owned and notes that families can inquire about a military discount. Current offers include options to schedule a trial class, book a free class, and a New Year’s promo for new students that includes one private or introductory class, the option to join a group class after the private session, one uniform included, and 2–3 group classes per week, with limited spaces, no refunds, not valid with other offers, and an end date of 1/31/2026.
