Rancho Park Golf Academy Junior Golf Programs include practice area drills and games, Par 3 course play, driving range sessions, video swing analysis, and training in chipping, putting, and sand (bunker play). Camp days follow a sample schedule that runs from morning practice area drills and games, to Par 3 course play before lunch, then driving range time, and finishes with more practice area drills and games until pick up.
• Ages: 4–16 years old
• Schedule: Weekly camps Monday–Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm, offered during winter (late December–early January), spring (late March–early April), and summer (early June–late August) school breaks
• Price: Total per week: $875 + 3% transaction fee ($901.25 total). Day Rate: $220 per day + 3% transaction fee ($226.60 total).
The camp is taught by Derrick Allen, who is the Rancho Park Golf Course Head Pro, a golf coach for Crossroads, Marymount, and Geffen Academy, and a PGA Associate. The program uses professional equipment, including swing analysis at a video station with advanced technology from JC Video golf swing analysis software, and runs with a maximum 5 campers to 1 coach ratio. An Advanced Golf Camp is available for tournament players 11–17 years old, or those qualified by Derrick, and includes daily 18-hole course play. A camp make-up day is available during weekend golf camp on Saturdays within 90 days of a missed date, and Westside Junior Golf Tour tournaments are expected for junior campers.
