Audax Soccer Club offers competitive tryouts and a youth recreational soccer league. The program is run by founders Savio Carrijo and Rafael Soares, who focus on teaching players through soccer exercises in both individual and group settings.
Audax Soccer Club is a nonprofit youth soccer club. The founders, Savio Carrijo and Rafael Soares, have been coaching in the Bay Area since 2003 at various levels including Division 1 Universities, NAIA, Junior College, U.S. Soccer Developmental Academy, High School, and youth club teams. The club’s mission is to bring challenging yet fun soccer to the South Bay community and to teach four aspects of the game: technique, tactics, physical, and psychosocial behavior. Coaches use soccer exercises to help players understand their roles on the field, learn cooperation and teamwork, and participate in fun, instructional games. The club aims to develop players who are bold and imaginative on the field, strong and energetic during activities, and audacious and fearless when challenged. Audax Soccer Club emphasizes a family environment and, as a community club, highly encourages fair play and expects all members to respect coaches, game officials, opponents, parents, and players.
