Colibrí Preschool is a Spanish immersion preschool that uses the Creative Curriculum® for Preschool as its learning framework. The program offers a child-centered and developmentally appropriate program for two- through five-year-old children, with a focus on social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. Colibrí Preschool promotes an environment where children become independent, confident, lifelong learners with a strong sense of self.

Colibrí Preschool was founded by two teachers, Maribel and Juliana, who wanted to share their love for Latin American language and culture with children and families in their community. The program states that it proudly offers a positive, child-centered preschool experience that fosters a love of learning in a nurturing community. In each child, the program strives to cultivate autonomy, a sense of belonging, respect for others, and enthusiasm for exploration.
