Jack London Youth Soccer Sports League (JLYSSL) offers competitive soccer matches and recreational soccer matches. The program also does business as Jack London Youth Soccer League.

For forty years the Jack London Youth Soccer League has presented competitive and recreational soccer matches. The league’s stated goal is to provide an opportunity for youth players of all skill levels to participate in soccer in a safe, positive environment. JLYSSL provides competitive and recreational soccer for more than 7,000 youth players in Oakland, Alameda, and Piedmont.

The league comprises Alameda Soccer Club, Clippers Football Club, East Bay United Soccer Club, Oakland Soccer Club, Oakland Genesis, and Piedmont Soccer Club. JLYSSL clubs are members of Soccer Association for Youth (SAY). JLYSSL clubs are also members of Norcal Premier Soccer, which is a member of US Club Soccer. JLYSSL is a District 4 member of the California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA), affiliated with the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA), the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). JLYSSL clubs are members of Soccer Association for Youth (SAY), affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). JLYSSL clubs are also members of Norcal Premier Soccer, which is a member of US Club Soccer affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). JLYSSL is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit corporation supported through player registration fees and donations.

League leadership roles include Tim Lasocki as JLYSSL President and Fields Coordinator, Scott MacAskill as JLYSSL Vice President, Robert Davis as JLYSSL Secretary and Discipline Chair, and Drew Williams as JLYSSL Treasurer. Additional roles include Jason Gumataotao as JLYSSL Referee Coordinator and CFC Designated Director, Tom LeClair for JLYSSL East Bay Fields, Scott Stollman as ASC Designated Director, Tim Ahearn as EBUSC Designated Director, Edward Stephen as OSC Designated Director, and Tim Lasocki as PSC Designated Director. Administrative and match roles include Evelyn Eligio-Torres as JLYSSL League Administrator, Rec Play Match Secretary, and Game Cancellations (Rain Out & AQI), along with Mark Savvides, Alejandro Mendoza, Carina Ibarra, and Julio Amaya as NorCal Comp Match Secretaries for various clubs. Rec play partnership roles include Priscila Flores, Michael Ager, and Toney Wright with ABSC; Daniel Silva, John Tarmat, and Matt Fitchett with Eastshore Alliance; and Bruce Greenlee, Olga Reyes, Silverio Ucan, and Alonso Torres with RUSC. Referee and field coordination roles include Steve Goswell for JLYSSL Referee Coordination and Development, John Richer for ASC referees, Augusto Cardoso for CFC referees, Myles Hecht for EBUSC referees and as OSC Referee Assignor, Tim Lasocki as PSC Referee Coordinator and JLYSSL Field Coordinator, James Murray as ASC Field Coordinator, Ken Rabb as EBUSC Field Coordinator, Tim Jones as CFC Field Coordinator, and Bill Gavce as OSC Field Coordinator. Drew Williams is also listed with Oakland Genesis.

League rules state that no dogs of any shape or size are ever allowed on Jack London fields, including practices as well as games, with the only exception being registered guide dogs.
