About the provider
Rock Paper Scissors Collective was formed in 2004 by a group of emerging artists in Oakland’s creative community. It raised the money to set up shop in 2005 and launched a new location in summer 2021. The collective is member-led and all volunteer-run, and it fosters creativity and collaboration through art, craft, education, and performance. It also encourages people to get involved by volunteering, teaching, exhibiting artwork, and proposing new ideas.
