Roots y Ramas Forest School offers a bilingual, play-based forest school program with nature immersion, social-emotional learning, and Spanish language acquisition. It also offers Quail Family Forest Time, a seasonal series of classes for children and their caregivers.

- School Year Program — We welcome children aged 2 - 5. · Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 am-4:00 pm; part time Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 am-1:00 pm · $1,938–$2,754 per month · Bilingual, play-based forest school; includes nature immersion, social-emotional learning, and Spanish language acquisition.
- Quail Family Forest Time — Infants to toddlers (age 2); ages 6mo. and non-walking babies are mentioned for one class. · Tuesday mornings · $360 per session · Seasonal series of classes for children and their caregivers; two listed fall session classes at Redwood Regional Park.
- Spring Picnic Party & Fundraiser — Open to all.

About the provider
Roots y Ramas Forest School was formed in 2022, growing out of Early Ecology Forest School, founded in 2015, and Big Trees. Sara Hampton, Eva Sivill, and Darci Andresen run the program cooperatively. The founders, staff, and substitute teachers are background checked and cleared, hold current first aid/CPR training certificates, and take annual week-long trainings in safety, values, and child development.
Limited spots available for 2026-2027. There are limited spaces available for 2 days/wk. The school year program welcomes children aged 2 - 5. Operating on Xučyun, the ancestral and unceded land of the Chochenyo Ohlone People.
