Han Martial Arts offers personalized training in martial arts that includes Taekwondo, Judo, self-defense, physical fitness, meditation, stretching, and warm-ups. The program includes competition teams such as Sparring Team, Demo Team, Judo Team, and Poomsae Team, as well as the Tiny Tiger program, the BLACK BELT GOAL Program (Juniors), the Teen & Adult Program, the Safe falling program (Grand Class), and Booster classes that provide private, one-on-one lessons with Masters.

• Price: 2-Week Trial for $99, including a full uniform and 4 classes

The leadership team includes Founder and President Master Han (7th Dan Black Belt); Supervisor and Executive Director Master Edward; Teen/Adult Class Master, STORM Team Advisor, and School Management Advisor Master Karl; General Class Master, Sparring Team Coach, Judo Team Instructor, and Demo Team Advisor Master Sam; Judo Team Coach Master Wi; General Class Master Master Koo; General Class Master and Sparring Team Coach Master Jacob; Demo Team Supervisor and General Class Master Master Michael; School Senior Manager Tay; School Manager Marcel; and School Online Marketing Advisor and S.T.O.R.M. Leadership Club Advisor Lindsey Stern.

Staff credentials include multiple high-ranking black belts and extensive experience. Master Edward has over 25 years of martial arts experience, more than 10 years of teaching experience, is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and 1st Degree Black Belt in Judo, was a professional national team athlete from 2009 to 2015, and is a two-time consecutive champion at the U.S. Nationals, U.S. Open International Championships, and California State Taekwondo Championships in 2024 and 2025. Master Karl is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo with over 45 years of experience in multiple martial arts disciplines including Hapkido, Judo, Karate, and Aikido. Master Sam is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, 2nd Degree Black Belt in Judo, has over 15 years of experience across Judo, Taekwondo, and Wrestling, is a 3-time Illinois State Medalist (2017, 2018, 2022) and 3-time Judo National Medalist (2016, 2017, 2025), and has over 10 years of competitive experience and more than 5 years of teaching recreational and competitive classes. Master Wi is 6th Dan in Judo, an Intercontinental Judo Coach, and a certified USA Judo Coach. Master Han is a 7th Dan Black Belt. Master Koo is a 7th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, 1st Degree Black Belt in Judo, 3rd Degree Black Belt in Yongmudo, has over 25 years of martial arts experience, more than 20 years of teaching experience, and has served as a Government-designated Master with KOICA and as Head Director of the Taekwondo Peace Corps. Master Jacob is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, has over 20 years of martial arts experience, more than 5 years of teaching experience, and represented the Qatar National Taekwondo Team from 2014 to 2023 and the Yemen National Taekwondo Team from 2006 to 2013. Additional staff include Drake Obertik (3rd Degree Black Belt), Doris Lew (1st Degree Black Belt), Pavel Berez (2nd Degree Black Belt), Griffyn Snaith (2nd Degree Black Belt), Maika Ting (1st Degree Black Belt), Scott Fisher (2nd Degree Black Belt), Lexi Banh (1st Degree Black Belt), Alexis Weiss (1st Degree Black Belt), Connor Sorensen (2nd Degree Black Belt), River Snaith (2nd Degree Black Belt), and Elsa Chun (2nd Degree Black Belt).
