Ace Kids Golf introduces kids to golf along with mentorship and leadership development. The program also includes college tours, paid internships, and job placement opportunities for participants.
Since 1998, Ace Kids Golf has introduced over 10,000 Oakland youth to the game of golf and to opportunities beyond the course. The program’s stated mission is “Empowering Oakland Youth Through Golf, Mentorship, and Opportunity.” Its community involvement includes mentorship, leadership development, and access to training, with a reported 75% program completion rate and offerings such as college tours, paid internships, and job placement opportunities.
