Piedmont Baseball Softball Foundation offers baseball, softball, and Fall Ball programs. The program includes both baseball and fastpitch softball activities under the same organization name.
• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: 2026 Spring season registration closes on December 1, 2025 at 11:59 pm; 2025 Fall Ball registration closes on August 31, 2025 at 11:59 pm
• Price: Late registrations automatically incur a $50 late fee; refunds equal the registration fee paid minus a $30 refund processing fee; a $75 jersey replacement fee is charged for any loaned jersey not returned immediately after the end of the season.
Piedmont Baseball Softball Foundation states that it is the community’s hometown league and is a non-profit run by volunteers in the Piedmont community. Its mission is to foster the skills and love of baseball and softball in interested and committed young players, with goals that each child develops as a player, appreciates the responsibilities and rewards of being on a team, learns life lessons and skills such as sportsmanship, character, confidence and resilience, receives ample opportunities to succeed, and has fun playing the game. PBSF is a PONY affiliated program and a USA/ASA affiliated fastpitch softball program. For 8U, 10U, and 12U/14U levels, there is a player evaluation before the season to assess each player’s skill level and help form evenly balanced teams; this evaluation is not a try-out and all players are placed on a team. Parents, coaches, and players are expected to follow the PBSF Code of Conduct. All Fall Ball baseball jerseys and most Spring season baseball jerseys and upper division softball jerseys are loaned to players for the season, and a jersey replacement fee applies if these loaned jerseys are not returned immediately after the season. PBSF partners with the Oakland Girls Softball League (OGSL) for league play in all 8u, 10u, and 12u–14u divisions.
