About
City of Pinole Youth Programs and Camps includes themed arts and crafts projects, sports and active outdoor play, musical activities, and classic camp games. Camps take place at the Pinole Youth Center throughout the year and include School Break Camps during Summer Break, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Presidents’ Week, and Spring Break.
• Ages: 6–12 years old
• Schedule: Daily 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with week-long sessions offered during 2026 Spring Break (April 6–10), Summer (June 15–August 14, no camp June 19 and July 3), Fall (November 23–25), and Winter (December 21–23 and December 28–30)
The mission of the Community Services Department’s youth programs is to provide a safe environment, programs, and events that extend learning opportunities outside of school time. The youth programming develops interests, talents, leadership skills, and provides opportunities to engage with the Pinole community. Spaces are limited, and families are advised to sign up early. For camp registration, families must upload the child’s birth certificate and immunization records, provide proof of residency to be considered for the resident rate, and provide a credit card and a copy of a driver’s license. Campers are expected to bring a refillable water bottle, a packed nut-free lunch and snacks, closed-toed shoes for safe play, and a jacket or coat for cool weather. The leadership team includes a Recreation Coordinator, a Youth Center Coordinator, and Recreation Coordinator J. Campbell (email: [email protected]).
