Pinole Seals Swim Club & Swim Lessons offers a competitive recreational swim team along with swim lessons. The program also includes Aqua Zumba and recreation swim.
• Schedule: Spring practice will commence on Monday, April 13, 2026, and summer practice on June 15, 2026; swim lesson registration starts April 4th at 8am.
The Pinole Seals Swim Club states that its mission is to operate a high quality, competitive recreational swim team that teaches children the value of teamwork, commitment, and dedication to accomplishing individual and common goals, while also teaching the technical skills necessary to compete in a competitive swimming environment. The organization describes its community role as providing the youth of West Contra Costa County and adjacent communities the opportunity to learn competitive swimming skills and to participate on a swim team. The club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization run completely by parent and family volunteers, and each family that is registered for the current season is required to volunteer during that season. Summer-only registration is available for returning Seals families, and registration has reached capacity for 2026 with a waitlist only, and the waitlist is closed for age groups 7/8, 9/10, and 11/12. Before registering for swim lessons, families need to create a family RecDesk account including themselves and their children, or log in if they already have an account. Leah Esturas-Pierson is the Seals Board President for 2026.
