Pinole Hercules Little League offers baseball, softball, and tee ball, including coach pitch, minor player pitch, skills assessments, tournament games, All Star Tryouts, and Live Scan & Picture Day. Players in Minor player pitch and higher divisions are assigned or drafted to a division team based on skills assessments in January, contingent on complete payment of fees, and players in Tee Ball and Coach Pitch divisions are assigned to a team contingent on complete payment of fees. Season games depend on the number of Pinole Hercules Little League teams and other District interleague teams.
• Ages: 4–16 years old
• Schedule: Spring 2026 Minor Coach/Machine Pitch Little League Baseball runs from 03/07/2026 to 06/04/2026, with registration closing on 03/31/2026 at 11:59 PM; practices begin after team rosters are formed, season games begin after Daylight Savings Time in March and run through the first week in June, with tournament games available in June and July for participating divisions.
• Price: Minor Coach/Machine Pitch Little League Baseball costs $300.00, including the credit card processing fee and Sport Connect service fee; there is a $25 family discount for the second, third, and fourth participant, a $50 late fee and $50 cancellation fee after December 31, 2025, and a $100 per-family volunteer fee collected during registration.
Pinole Hercules Little League is a 100% volunteer operating non-profit organization with no paid employees on the Board or otherwise, except for youth umpires. One of the goals of the Pinole Hercules Little League Board is to encourage participation in Little League through volunteer support. All volunteer positions are subject to completion of an annual background check, a one-time DOJ Live Scan fingerprint, annual and one-time training courses, and applicable baseball and softball rules clinics, and all youth sports organizations in the state of California must comply with AB 506, which mandates that all volunteers have fingerprints taken and complete annual background checks. A volunteer fee refund is available for fulfilling specified volunteer positions, and the league states that the Little League experience is only as good as its volunteers.
Registration for the spring 2026 season in baseball and softball divisions opens on November 1, 2025. There is a limit to the number of players per team and the number of teams per division, and a wait list is used on a first come, first serve basis after division slots are filled. A payment plan option is available. Little League Regulation Update allows children League Age 4–7 to register for any Little League program they choose starting with the 2025 season.
Pinole Hercules Little League’s boundaries approved by Little League, Incorporated, include but are not limited to Bayview, Crockett, El Sobrante, Hercules, Montalvin Manor, Pinole, Rodeo, Tara Hills, and parts of Richmond and San Pablo. The schedule for spring 2026 includes Spring Break from 4/6–4/10, Live Scan & Picture Day on April 19 at 9:00 AM, All Star Tryouts on May 10 at 9:00 AM, Memorial Day Weekend from 5/23–5/25, Pinole Hercules Little League Spring 2026 Closing Day on May 31 at 9:00 AM, District 4 Tournament of Champions beginning June 5, and District 4 All Star beginning June 16.
