Summer @ Menorah offers summer programs for children ages 18 months–17 years old through its Camp Tuvia and Camp Menorah programs. Camp Tuvia is for ages 18 months–5 years old, including toddler, preschool, and transitional kindergarten (TK), and is part of a year-round school that includes a summer program. Camp Menorah is the school-age summer program for kindergarten–12th grade and is open to incoming transitional kindergarteners as well as kindergarteners, while the preschool program at Tuvia also offers options for rising TK students. The program offers year-round and week-to-week contracts for the summer.

The Tuvia School of Temple Menorah states that its mission is to enhance the learning and development of young children in a safe and caring Jewish environment through a curriculum designed to meet the individual needs of each child. Tuvia describes itself as a nurturing, responsive learning community where childhood is recognized and celebrated as a unique period of life that impacts future development. The program states that children learn and develop best as they interact within a safe environment where they feel competent and affirmed, and within an environment they have helped to create. Tuvia promotes learning through relationships that help children feel secure and develop self-respect, respect for others, cooperation, and responsibility for the community, using a curriculum infused with Jewish values and the teachings of Jewish heritage and based on what it describes as best practices in the early childhood profession.

The program describes itself as nurturing childhood for nearly 50 years and notes that every summer it strives to provide a summer camp environment for toddler, preschool, and TK families full of laughter, learning, and fun. It states that it helps all kids thrive, learn, and grow. The program notes that essential elements in its process include contributions of individuals, families, education professionals, synagogue leadership, and the wider community. Summer @ Menorah operates under License #191602309. The leadership team includes Marissa, who is listed with the contact email [email protected].
