Study Hut Tutoring offers one-on-one subject tutoring, academic coaching, and reading, writing, and math packages, along with a Homework Club and accredited courses. Students can take part in test prep for private school entrance exams, including ISEE, HSPT, SSAT, OLSAT, G.A.T.E., SAT, ACT, COOP, and TACH, as well as AP classes, honors and AP tutoring, and courses for credit. The program also offers specialized workshops such as Cognitive Skills Workshops, Advanced Writing Workshops, 1-on-1 Math Workshops, and transition workshops for 5th to 6th grade and 8th to 9th grade, plus college counseling, college essay help, and college admissions coaching.

Study Hut Tutoring states that its philosophy is to encourage and motivate students to develop a strong and continuous academic work ethic in order to achieve goals. Study Hut tutors are described as fresh out of college, local, and experienced, and they have all graduated from local high schools and universities. The program offers accredited courses, accredited courses for advancement, and accredited classes for remediation. Study Hut specializes in personalized instruction and performance-building techniques to help students do their best on standardized exams, and the Hermosa Beach location offers free practice SAT/ACT and SAT/ACT diagnostic tests. All students who come in on a regular basis receive what Study Hut calls the patented Hut Service, which includes improving their organization, study skills, and attitudes toward school, and students are carefully matched with tutors based on their personalities and needs, with parents, teachers, and administrators kept in the learning loop whenever requested. Study Hut currently supports AVID programs at many local schools by providing skilled tutors in the mornings and offers a local one-on-one tutoring experience in several beach communities.
