The camp is described as being for children 5–10 years old, including both beginners without experience and more advanced learners, and knowledge of Chinese is not required. Weekly themed culture exposure experiences focus on art, food, culture, STEM, and traditional Chinese art, and campers work on a wide range of hands-on activities and projects.

The curriculum is described as application-driven and set in a Chinese immersion environment that aims to empower children to use Mandarin naturally in everyday life. Menlo Chinese School uses small-group teaching methods and a custom curriculum that includes the Chinese Everywhere textbook, workbook, flashcards, and supporting animations featuring the characters Guagua, Tiantian, and Xixi. Placement tests are available for Singapore Math (Dimensions Math) K–5, with downloadable tests and guidance.

Menlo Chinese School states that its teachers are professional, experienced, and outstanding, with solid Mandarin teaching expertise, and that they use interactive methods and personalized small-class attention to help students improve Mandarin. The leadership team includes Yayin Zhu as Lead Mandarin Teacher in Menlo Park, Lydia Lin as Lead Mandarin Teacher in Palo Alto, Carol Huang as Mandarin Teacher in Redwood City, and Dan Wu as Lead Mandarin Teacher for weekend programs. The program materials indicate ©2023–2026 by CoQo Education LLC, and note a partnership with Acton Academy Silicon Valley, which is described as delivering a preschool–8th grade education in a self-directed environment emphasizing teamwork, entrepreneurship, social-emotional awareness, and a growth mindset.
