Camp Carmel Creek

Camp Carmel Creek offers specialty-focused Adventure Track options that campers can select and change each week. Even within the same Adventure Track, each week features a new specialty, and the camp follows a curiosity-based style of programming. Camp Carmel Creek is a specialty summer camp with a classic camp feel, and families do not need to pack a lunch for campers.

Camp Carmel Creek has been providing summer camp experiences since 2023. The camp is led by Travis Pelletier and Anna Pelletier, who are experienced educators and camp leaders with more than 30 years of combined camp experience. The program is powered by a team of teachers, educators, and camp professionals, along with an energetic staff of young adults. The camp describes its mission as filling childhood summers with joy, curiosity, adventure, and community. Camp Carmel Creek is a community offering created by San Diego Jewish Academy, and it states that building community and experiencing a sense of belonging is central to its summer camp. It also states that summer is short, but the community built throughout San Diego will last year after year.
