World Taekwondo Academy

World TaeKwonDo Academy offers Children’s Classes, Adult Classes, Private Training, and Wellness Kinesiology. For children, students are suggested to start with a four-week trial course, and students are given complementary uniforms for that trial course.

About the provider

World TaeKwonDo Academy describes itself as the premiere Taekwondo training school in Carmel Valley, San Diego. Its leadership team includes Master TJ Kim, Master Jeff Lee, Instructor John Paul, Assistant Instructor Alexander Shahla, Assistant Instructor Jesus Caro, and Assistant Instructor Vincent Willyard. Master TJ Kim has been practicing Taekwondo for over 40 years, was born, raised, and trained in Korea, and participated in the 1988 Seoul Olympic games. Master Jeff Lee achieved the Taekwondo Master certificate in 2014.

Children’s Classes: students are suggested to start with a four-week trial course so instructors can determine whether the student can continue on with group classes and where to place them.
