About
World Taekwondo Academy offers Taekwondo classes for children and adults, including children’s classes, adult classes, and private training. Master TJ Kim has been practicing Taekwondo for over 40 years and was born, raised, and trained in Korea. He participated in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games and has been living in San Diego for over 20 years. Master Jeff Lee moved to the United States from Korea, is a professional Taekwondo master, and achieved the Taekwondo Master certificate in 2014. He is also an avid student of business and economics and is currently studying economics at the University of California, San Diego. The leadership team includes Master TJ Kim, Master Jeff Lee, Instructor John Paul, Assistant Instructor Alexander Shahla, Assistant Instructor Jesus Caro, and Assistant Instructor Vincent Willyard.
World Taekwondo Academy describes itself as the premiere Taekwondo training school in Carmel Valley, San Diego, and offers authentic Korean martial arts with over 40 years of experience.
