Dons Summer Camp includes Adventure STEAM Camp with engineering and science demonstrations and hands-on projects such as mini robots, an egg drop, and water rockets. Campers can also join Arts & Crafts projects, collaborative outdoor arts and crafts activities, and Creative Minds: Math & Art Camp (K–2), which uses creative, hands-on art projects to explore patterns, counting, shapes, and measurement. Dons Aquatic Adventure Swim Camp focuses on swimming skills, water safety knowledge, pool games, and specific strokes and skills including Backstroke, Freestyle, Butterfly, Breaststroke, and Diving/Treading Water, along with use of the diving board, inflatables, water balloons, beach balls, and noodles. Dons baseball camp offers instruction and drills in all facets of baseball, including the fundamentals of outfield and infield play, pitching, hitting, and base running.

Cathedral Catholic will host Dons Summer Camps for rising 1st grade through 8th grade students, with camps offered in Summer 2026 being updated weekly on the registration page and registration now open. Adventure STEAM Camp offers separate options for rising first through rising third graders and for rising fourth through sixth graders, while Arts & Crafts camp is for rising first, second, third, and fourth graders. Creative Minds: Math & Art Camp (K–2) emphasizes less worksheets, more paint, and real math learning, and its activities align with California standards. Dons Aquatic Adventure Swim Camp is a week-long program open to rising second through rising sixth graders, requires campers to be proficient swimmers, focuses on a different swimming skill each day, and concludes each day on the pool deck with social time and a sweet treat.

Instruction at Dons baseball camp will be provided by CCHS Dons varsity baseball coach Gary Remiker, and the leadership team for Dons Summer Camp includes Kevin J. Calkins, Ph.D., President; Gary Remiker; and Frank Caro as the contact for Dons Summer Camp questions. Cathedral Catholic High School has 86 years of rich heritage, a 54-acre campus with state-of-the-art facilities, 18,000 Dons alumni, and 29 employees who are alumni. The broader Cathedral Catholic community includes past and current parents, San Diego Diocesan priests, and religious sisters and brothers who started and still nurture the school’s educational ministry. Cathedral Catholic awards $5.1 million in tuition assistance annually, and 91% of the class of 2024 graduates are attending a four-year college.

For Dons Baseball Camp, campers should wear appropriate baseball attire, including a hat, baseball sweats or athletic pants, and cleats or tennis shoes, and bring their own glove, bat, and helmet. For all listed camps, families have until May 22, 2026, to get a refund if they choose to cancel their attendance, and no refunds will be given after May 22, 2026, under the stated no refund policy.
