San Rafael Parish Religious Education Program

The San Rafael Parish Religious Education Program offers The Sunday Preschool Ministry, the Religious Education Program, Sacramental Preparation, and Kids’ Word. The Sunday Preschool Ministry provides appropriate religious activities coordinated by catechists, while Sacramental Preparation prepares students for Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Kids’ Word is a Liturgy of the Word for children.

• The Sunday Preschool Ministry — Ages 3-5; PreK (3YO)-Kinder · Sundays, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. · $150 · Provides appropriate religious activities coordinated by catechists. No fees are being asked at this time.
• The Religious Education Program — Grades 1-5 · Mondays at 4:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. or Thursdays at 3:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. · $125 · Weekly after-school classes in the Parish Center classrooms. There is an additional $50.00 per child for those children in their 1st and 2nd year of Sacramental Preparation.
• Sacramental Preparation — Children in Grades 1-5 · $50 · Prepares students for Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. This is a two-year program.
• Kids’ Word — Grades 1-5 · During the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays from September through late May · Liturgy of the Word for children.
