Kids Kollege Preschool and Childcare Center

Kids Kollege Preschool and Childcare Center offers play-based Preschool and Pre-K programs in an atmosphere that is inclusive, child-centered, and developmentally appropriate. The program follows a high-quality approach that honors each child's individual temperament and developmental journey through family partnership, small teacher-to-child ratios, and curriculum that encourages intrinsic curiosity and exploration. The teaching staff are experienced early childhood educators who work as a close-knit team and value the home-school connection and partnering with parents and families.

Since 1989, Kids Kollege Preschool and Childcare Center has been successfully serving the Sunset community and cultivating a school community that includes families from throughout the San Francisco Bay Area region. The program is a non-profit, nonsectarian organization (LIC#380505246) and promotes TK and Kindergarten readiness in a safe and warm environment. The mission of Kids Kollege states that each child has the right to a safe, nurturing, responsive, and enriching environment, and views children as competent explorers who are encouraged to express themselves creatively, problem solve, think critically, practice empathy, exercise mindfulness, and build self-esteem. The program maintains well-rounded preschool classes to serve families from a wide range of cultural, economic, and ideological backgrounds and takes pride in sending graduates into local schools. All teaching staff have completed qualifying coursework in Early Childhood Education, are trained in first aid and CPR, are prepared to handle emergencies, and all staff members have been DOJ background checked and cleared.
