Kudos College of Youth Leadership offers activities in competitive speech and debate, spontaneous speaking, team debates, dramatic interpretation, and tournaments. The program also includes Congress debate, Model United Nations, Mock Trial, Drama, Storytelling, TV News Anchor Training, and Magic & Stage Showmanship. Events are described as an academic sport called “forensics,” where activities such as competitive speech and debate are performed live and judged at tournaments.

• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday with daytime and afternoon hours, plus Saturday daytime hours
Now in its 16th year, Kudos College of Youth Leadership offers courses such as a Yearly Survey Class, Critical Thinking, and Persuasive Writing, along with performance-based classes that build stage presence and interpersonal skills. Its three core areas of focus are communication skills, performance skills, and law, government, and citizenship, including Congress debate, Model United Nations, and past participation in Mock Trial. The teaching approach is rooted in 15 years of expertise and practical training with a focus on hands-on experiences and real-world applications. The program’s impact includes enhanced confidence and academic success as reported by parents, and alumni are described as engaged, attending top universities, entering competitive fields, and applying the communication skills developed at Kudos to real-world success.
Kudos College of Youth Leadership was founded by principal Laura Lin, who is described as an educator and a parent.
