AC Swim Club

AC Swim Club offers Group Swim Lessons and Private Lessons. Group Swim Lessons are for children ages 4 and up, meet in 30-minute lessons, and have a 4:1 student-teacher ratio. Private Lessons are for swimmers ages 3 and up and are 30-minute one-on-one lessons.

Programs

• Group Swim Lessons — children ages 4 and up · weekly rolling enrollment throughout the fall; 30-minute lessons · $52 per class · 4:1 student/teacher ratio. No makeups or credits for unexcused absences. Fall Semester begins Aug 24 and ends Oct 31.
• Private Lessons — swimmers ages 3 and up · Rolling Enrollment; 30-minute lessons throughout the Fall Semester (August 24–October 31) · $115 per class · Personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to each swimmer's needs. One-off lessons are charged at the time of booking. Rolling Enrollment lessons are billed monthly.

About the provider

AC Swim Club was founded in 1959 as the Ann Curtis School of Swimming by Olympian Ann Curtis. Ann Curtis won 31 national titles, broke four World Records and 56 American Records, won three medals at the 1948 London Olympic Games, and was inducted into the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame in 1983. In April 2019, the Cuneo family passed the legacy to Nathan Adrian and Will Copeland.

Lessons are 30 minutes each. Once placed in the appropriate class, the student will swim at the same time with the same class for the entirety of the season. The small 4:1 student/teacher ratio and weekly repetition help students get comfortable with the teacher and gain confidence. There are no makeups or credits for unexcused absences. One-off private lessons are charged at the time of booking. Rolling Enrollment lessons are billed monthly.
