Bright Stars Children’s Center

Bright Stars Children’s Center offers an Infant Care program, a Toddler Program, a Preschool program, and an After School program that is available only at the Terra Linda site. In its safe and nurturing environment, children are free to run, jump, and have fun while discovering new things.

• Ages: 0–12 years old

At Bright Stars, the stated mission is to support each child’s unique development and to treat every moment as an opportunity for growth and learning. The program focuses on building children’s confidence and self-esteem as they explore the world around them, and its activities are described as designed for each child’s development.

Parents describe Nahid and her team as kind, loving, and excellent teachers. One parent reports that a child who started at 18 months and is now 2½ has learned letters, numbers, colors, animals, and new words. Another parent of 2-year-old twins notes that they can count in both English and Spanish and often do arts and crafts or go on field trips around the center. Other parents mention that their children love school, have learned a lot in their early years of education, and that staff are compassionate, loving, friendly, engaged, and regularly communicate about how the children are doing.
