Marin Baseball

Marin Baseball is a baseball program where players take part in organized baseball activities. The program centers on true player development in baseball, including physical growth, mental toughness, sportsmanship, and leadership. It focuses on creating an enjoyable environment where players can grow as athletes and develop a lifelong love for the game through baseball.

• Ages: 8–14 years old

Marin Baseball was founded in 2017 by a group of parents with a shared vision to create something different for young athletes in the community and has grown from one team into a club with over 20 teams and more than 400 athletes spanning three counties. For ages 8–12, the program focuses on enhancing and complementing the Little League experience by teaching fundamental baseball skills, teamwork, and the joy of competition while building confidence. For ages 13–14, the program focuses on preparing players for high school baseball with advanced skills, mental toughness, and an understanding of what it takes to thrive in high school baseball programs. The mission of Marin Baseball is to complement the youth Little League baseball experience, prepare players for high school baseball, and lay a foundation for future success both on the field and in life.

The coaching staff includes former collegiate players and individuals with years of coaching experience. Marin Baseball partners with local Little Leagues, aligns its schedule to complement rather than compete with Little League, and stays connected to the families it serves. The program emphasizes long-term player development, discipline, and work ethic for success on and off the field, as well as mental toughness and resilience, including staying focused, overcoming challenges, and staying composed under pressure. It also emphasizes teaching respect and sportsmanship and fostering a culture of integrity, humility, and sportsmanship. Marin Baseball provides financial assistance, equipment, coach training, and field rentals supported by donors to make baseball more accessible.
