Miss Jean's Swim School

Miss Jean's Swim School offers a Parent-Tot swim class, private swim lessons, and semi-private swim lessons. Private and semi-private lessons use personalized instruction, with difficulty increasing as the student progresses. The Parent-Tot class includes a parent or caregiver in the water with the child and is designed for children ages 2–4.

• Price: $80 per half hour. $110 hour lessons for 2.

The instructors are seasoned professionals with over 10,000 teaching hours. The program describes its approach as a calm, encouraging experience that helps children feel secure while learning essential lifelong water skills. Most lessons take place at a partner pool, and there is also an option for lessons at a family’s own pool for an additional $30 travel fee. Families are advised that they are going to need a pool to practice outside of their lessons.
