Kids Art Camps and Workshops at PAINT:LAB

Kids Art Camps and Workshops at PAINT:LAB offers daily after-school and weekend art classes for kids, seasonal Spring Break and Summer Break Camps, and bi-weekly weekend kids’ art workshops. The program also offers pre-k painting classes, open studio painting, and children’s classes in the Fundamentals of Watercolor Painting, Fundamentals of Oil Painting, and Drawing Fundamentals. Kids Art Camps and Workshops at PAINT:LAB also hosts step-by-step guided kids’ parties and abstract exploration parties that include painting activities.

• Ages: 2–12 years old
• Schedule: Options include daily or weekly Spring Break and Summer Break Camps from 9am–2:30pm, after-school workshops Monday–Friday, bi-weekly weekend workshops on Saturdays from 11am–1pm, and a 1-hour pre-k painting class on Wednesdays from 4pm–5pm.
• Price: Spring and Summer Break Camps range from $40 for a single 1.5-hour session to $630 for a weekly full-day session; after-school workshops start at $40 for a daily single session; weekend kids’ art workshops are $55 including materials; kids’ parties start at $32–$48 per painter plus room fees; open studio painting for kids is $17 plus surface costs.

PAINT:LAB opened its doors on March 21, 2009. The staff is made up of experienced painters and artists. The studio’s mission states that it is a walk-in art studio where people can experience, express, and explore their creativity through the medium of paint, with the motto “Everyone Can Paint!” PAINT:LAB states that it works to bring art and painting classes to the community, including work with local libraries, schools, the police department, seniors and youth centers, museums, and local businesses.
