Kids Art Camps and Workshops at PAINT:LAB offers daily After-School Art Classes, bi-weekly weekend kids’ art workshops, and Summer Break Camp with activities such as Featured Artist projects, Animals & Adventure art sessions, Mixed Media projects, Drawing & More sessions, and Fantasy and Abstract Acrylic Exploration. The program also offers step-by-step guided kids’ parties, Abstract Exploration parties, Open Studio Painting, and pre-k painting classes for ages 2–5, with some kids’ classes held outside on certain days, weather permitting.

• Price: Summer Break Camp ranges from $40–$130 per single day option and $450–$630 per weekly option; After-School Workshops range from $40 for a daily single session to $435 for twice-a-week six-week semesters; weekend kids’ art workshops cost $55 including materials; step-by-step guided kids’ parties start at $48 per painter plus a $100 room fee, and Abstract Exploration parties start at $35 per painter plus a $100 room fee; Open Studio Painting for kids is $17 plus canvas, and daily lab for children is $17 including materials except surfaces.
PAINT:LAB opened its doors on March 21, 2009. The staff is made up of experienced painters and artists. The studio’s stated goal is to allow both painters and non-painters the opportunity of discovering the artist within, with the motto “Everyone Can Paint!” and a focus on being a place where customers can come in on their own schedule and create works of art. PAINT:LAB works with local libraries, schools, the police department, seniors and youth centers, museums, and local businesses to bring art and painting classes to the community.
