Children’s Summer Camps includes activities such as Dance Class, Design a Miniature Backdrop, Design a Costume, and Music Exploration. Each week features storybook and film characters that are brought to life through dance and design, with themes including Cinderella, Moana, Frozen, Tinker Bell & Peter Pan, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and K-Pop Demon Hunter.

Westside School of Ballet describes Children’s Themed Day Camps for girls and boys ages 4–7, with all skill levels welcome. All offerings are pending enrollment and are subject to change without notice. Westside School of Ballet is described as a premiere training facility that emphasizes the Balanchine style of classical ballet training and distinguishes itself as a non-audition school. All registered students are eligible for a performance opportunity in the Year End Demonstration for the entire school, from Pre-Primary (age 3) to Level 7.
Westside School of Ballet is described as Los Angeles’ oldest and most successful public ballet school and was founded in 1967. It was founded by New York City Ballet’s Yvonne Mounsey and co-founder Rosemary Valaire, a Royal Ballet soloist, and the Artistic Director is Martine Harley. Westside School of Ballet offers training by teachers with broad experience performing with professional companies all over the world, and nearly all of the Artistic Staff are products of the school themselves, having served on the faculty for over 10, 20, and 30 years. Westside Ballet (the non-profit performing division) has been Southern California’s premiere pre-professional training company for over 50 years and has been serving the Los Angeles ballet community for over 40 years. Westside School of Ballet has produced professional-caliber performances twice a year since 1973, and its full-length The Nutcracker with live orchestra is Los Angeles’ longest-running production, with the Nutcracker production celebrating its 48th anniversary. The organization states that it is celebrating over 50 years of excellence and 54 years of excellence since 1967. Westside School of Ballet’s mission states that it is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence and the development of the student as an artist, and that the program is designed with the serious ballet student in mind while welcoming all students ages 3–18 who wish to pursue the study of dance in an inspiring, enriched learning environment.
