Sandy Hill Nursery School

Sandy Hill Nursery School offers Tidepools for children ages 2 to 2.5, Pinecones for ages 2.5 to 3, Footprints for ages 3 to 4, and Treetops for ages 4 to 5. These primary programs run on M-F, MWF, or TTH schedules from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. The school also offers a Full Day Program from 8:30 am to 4 pm and an Adventure Class from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm that must be paired with one of the preschool schedule options.

About the provider

Sandy Hill Nursery School has been operating since 1966. Its mission is to create a nurturing and dynamic natural environment where young minds can thrive, explore, and grow. The school gives tours by appointment only, and its campus classes are held in bungalows nestled in the coastal desert chaparral that are almost always open due to the mild climate. Children do not need to be potty-trained for Tidepools and Pinecones, while children in Footprints and Treetops are required to be potty-trained. Full Day Program includes a rest time and afternoon activities.
