Solana Beach Child Development Center Toddler Center offers toddler activities that include outdoor play, morning circle, art, free-choice activities, body check, story time, music, snack, outdoor exploration, gross motor time, clean-up, fine motor activities, lunch, family-style dining, nap time, wake-up, and indoor choice activities. The program also offers Preschool, before and after-school care, enrichment classes, academic clubs, the SBSD Band Program, and summer camps.

About the provider

The Child Development Center's mission is to provide children the opportunity to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively in a safe, secure, and inclusive environment. The leadership team includes Jennifer Orr, Director; Beth Aguirre, Preschool Supervisor; Jennifer Sarg, Administrative Assistant; Tiffany Baker, CDC Programs Specialist; and program leaders Christian Espinoza, Elidel Medoza, Angela Trivonovich, Megan Cheshire, Dylan Igoe, Kimberly Marshall, Yolanda Zepeda-Barrera, and Giselle Menes. Parents play an important role in helping to enrich Child Development Center programs, and the CDC welcomes interest, involvement, and support.

Priority registration is given to returning families and District staff. Contracts will be approved as space is available. Priority is also given to current families, siblings, ELO-P eligible students, and District staff; all others are approved based on schedules and registration order.
