West Sacramento Swim Team (West Sacramento Dolphins)

The West Sacramento Swim Team (West Sacramento Dolphins) offers competitive swimming that includes swim evaluations, swim meets, and swim clinics. The program uses the SwimTopia Mobile app so families can receive team alerts for weather delays, sign up for meets, and view volunteer commitments and swim results.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

Since 1991, the program has promoted the sport of competitive swimming within West Sacramento. Its stated mission is that each swimmer is provided the opportunity to achieve his or her full potential in swimming. The team is part of the Northern California Swim League (NCSL) and operates as a not-for-profit swim club. It is a seasonal swim program and is known as the home of the West Sacramento Dolphins, an award winning USA Swim Club. The club is governed by WSST By-Laws and run by an elected Board of Directors that meets each month, and all members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers. The program has promoted competitive swimming in the community and has provided an award winning USA Swim Club where swimmers can compete at the highest level.
