Alpha Gymnastics Academy

Alpha Gymnastics Academy offers Parents & Tots classes where little ones jump, balance, and explore with an actively participating parent or caregiver. The program also offers Pre-School classes that include vault, bars, beam, and floor, and boys-only classes that include guided progressions on floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar.

Programs

• Parents & Tots — 18 months – 3.5 years old · Co-ed class where little ones jump, balance, and explore with an actively participating parent or caregiver; develops strength, coordination, balance, agility, bonding, and fun interaction.
• Pre-School — 3.5 – 5 years old · First step of independence; builds fitness and basic gymnastics skills (vault, bars, beam, floor), turn-taking, manners, early social skills, body awareness, coordination, and cooperative learning.
• Recreational — 5 – 12+ years old · Recreational gymnastics organized by age and ability (5-6, 7-9, 10-12) to help children progressively master skills and reach their potential.
• Boys Only — 5 – 12+ years old · Boys-only gymnastics covering basic to advanced techniques; structured toward men’s gymnastics with guided progressions on floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar.
• Advanced Girls Only — 5+ years · Girls-only advanced class designed to work the same skills and drills as competitive level with fewer hours and no competitions; assessment required.
• Competitive Alpha Team — Competitive team program to train and develop competition-level skills; assessment required.
• One on One Private Lessons — All ages and all levels · Class length 55 minutes; registration open year-round
• March Break Camp — Ages 4.5 and up · Camp runs 9:00 am – 4:00 pm; daily or weekly enrollment available; full week registration only for March Break 2026. · $285 per week
• Summer Camps — Ages 4.5 and up · Weekly camps run 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday; full week registration only; 8 weeks available July 6 – Aug 28. · $299 per week

About the provider

Alpha Gymnastics Academy was founded and is led by 2008 Olympian Robert Stanescu. The organization states its mission as: "Alpha Gymnastics Academy empowers children to build confidence, coordination, and strength, both inside and outside the gym, through movement, discipline, and fun so they can take on life’s challenges with confidence." The program reports over 12 years of history and is a member of Gymnastics Ontario and Gymnastics Canada Federation.
