Little Kickers offers soccer and pre-school soccer classes that focus on learning through play. The program teaches high quality soccer skills in a friendly, pressure-free environment and is built around a “fun first” approach. Its programmes combine high quality football skills with pre-school learning concepts such as colour and number recognition, sharing, following instructions and using imagination.
• Ages: 18 months–8 years old
Little Kickers runs four different classes tailored specifically to the needs of children between 18 months and eight years of age. The majority of classes run on a simple subscription basis, and families can give 30 days’ notice to cancel enrolment. The program’s mission is to give children a positive introduction to sport by teaching high quality soccer skills in a friendly, pressure-free environment. Little Kickers started in the UK in 2002 and was founded by Christine Stanschus. It is described as the world’s biggest and most successful pre-school soccer academy, with a network of 2,500 coaches and over 300 franchises in over 30 countries, and its classes are led by FA qualified soccer coaches.
