Progression Gymnastics started as a mobile program in Tulare County in 2016, reopened on the Town Green in 2022, and expanded to a new home at 7798 Bell Road in January 2024. The program offers fun and engaging gymnastics classes for students 18 months–6 years old, with classes divided into age-appropriate groups and additional non-competitive gymnastics classes divided by age and skill level. Skills are taught in a progressive manner, and there are invitation-based teams for students who want more training hours, including competitive programs where students master skills set by USAG, practice routines, and perform or compete in competitions throughout the spring season. The program also offers specially designed options beyond regular classes, including summer, winter, spring break, and Thanksgiving break camps, as well as skill-building clinics and Friday Fun Nights once or twice a month. There is a waitlist for all classes, with spots offered in age-appropriate classes in order of inquiry date, and students ages 6 and up may register for Friday Fun Nights and camps even if not enrolled in classes, as long as they pay the annual membership fee. The program uses small instructor-to-student ratios and small class sizes, and the coaches are trained in both gymnastics and child development.

The leadership team includes Coach Elise (Owner and Coach), Coach Anastasiia (Manager, Coach, and Team Director), Coach Lucia (Kindergym, Academy, and Team Coach), Coach Brittany (Kindergym Coach), Coach Maddie (Kindergym and Academy Coach), and Coach Margeaux (Kindergym and Academy Coach). Coach Elise received a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Special Education from San Francisco State University, earned a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Yatra Yoga, and has attended several Regional Gymnastics Congresses and other classes and clinics related to gymnastics, physical fitness, and child development. Coach Anastasiia earned the title of Master of Sports in Ukraine, participated in boxing for 10 years, placed 3rd in the World Championship and the Europe Championship, holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Physical Education, has attended the Region 1 gymnastics congress, is a certified USAG Team Coach, and has completed the judging course for Xcel Bronze and Silver. The program states that its mission is to help every child it works with gain self-esteem and confidence while learning the fundamentals of gymnastics in a fun and progressive manner.
