Learn to Bike Camp – Wash Park is a half-day Learn to Bike day camp focused on biking. The camp uses a time tested method that progresses campers from scooting to coasting to pedaling. It is intended for first-time riders or kids who are currently using training wheels or balance bikes, and campers are strongly encouraged to use their own bikes but may also borrow from the camp’s fleet.

The camp runs as a 1-week session, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Camper-to-staff ratios are 5:1, and the environment is described as supportive and on-site. The program includes transportation to and from recreation areas and access to top-of-the-line gear specifically sized for kids.

Learn to Bike Camp – Wash Park is part of Avid4 Adventure, whose mission states that kids build confidence, make new friends, and master essential skills in activities like paddling, biking, rock climbing, and hiking. Avid4 Adventure programs evolve from age 3 all the way to 17 and are described as top-notch, highly acclaimed summer camps.
