About
Kayaking Day Camp – Golden focuses on kayaking skills, including flatwater kayaking, whitewater kayaking, paddling independently, and paddling as a team. Campers spend their first two or three days learning flatwater skills, getting comfortable with fitting their equipment, using kayaking hand signals, making wet exits, and maneuvering kid-friendly Jackson Whitewater Kayaks before paddling in moving water. The program also includes learning basic strokes, rescue techniques, river reading, and water safety.
