Flag Star Football offers flag football leagues and related programs, including summer camp, Girls' Programs, an Elite League, and a Summer Commanders Camp. The ‘Elite’ league is for rising 4th–10th graders. The program includes 11 locations around Washington, DC where kids can play flag football and multiple summer camp locations across the DMV.
Flag Star Football states that it is an eco-system where kids can Get Better and Have Fun, and that at the core of the organization, that is what it is about. The Commissioner, Carl Ehrlich, captained the Harvard Football team and played “professional” football in Valencia, Spain. The program is run in conjunction with the Flag Star Football Foundation and The Next Game Project LLC, which are described as proud partners of the Flag Star Football Foundation, working to provide all young athletes the opportunity to play, learn and grow. The organization states that every kid deserves a chance to play and that it has a policy of never turning a kid away, with 0 kids ever turned away due to money and 2,845 scholarships provided in 2025, and that scholarships provide financial assistance to those in need.
